This tried-and-true veteran, located in the atrium of the Seeman Holtz Building, has a well-appointed dance floor to accompany its three-course lunch ($25 per person) and dinner ($39 per person). For lunch, sample the ricotta-and-parmesan-stuffed eggplant rollatini topped with marinara as the appetizer, the shrimp pappardelle porcini or chicken Milanese with greens and aged balsamic glaze for the main, and double-chocolate mousse cake for dessert. For dinner, begin with clams oreganata, and for entrees choose between duck a l’ orange or grilled veal chop porcini. Finish with house made tiramisu.

June 9-World Oceans Day Art Exhibit and Concert-Special Event Invitation by Taras Oceanographic Foundation

Together with the City of Riviera Beach, the Taras Oceanographic Foundation once again put together an art exhibit and live music performance to celebrate World Oceans Day. Both events are held on Friday, June 9th at the Marina Event Center, located at 190 E 13th Street in in Riviera Beach, FL 33404. The art exhibit opens at 5 pm and then stays open until the end of August. The concert starts at 7 pm and we expect it to conclude by 10 pm. Music performers are Tony McManus, Mark Russell, and Slava Tolstoy, all exceptional musicians.

The art exhibit will feature works Michael Alexander, Jessica Bourrett, Kris Davis, Cindy Oakes, Stephanie Stinch and Sharon Swift. The artists will be present and share personal stories related to their artwork. This is a great way to learn about the oceans, dolphins, sea turtles and all marine life that contributes to the richness of our coastal environment and communities .

The concert is open to the public and absolutely FREE. But you have to register below. 6-9pm –Lecture / Stephen Brown on Florine Stettheimer    The painter and poet Florine Stettheimer (1871 – 1944) is an icon of the Jazz Age whose friends included Marcel Duchamp and Georgia O’Keeffe. Learn about Stettheimer’s life, as well as her sophisticated and whimsical artwork, which is included in the exhibition At the Dawn of a New Age: Early Twentieth-Century American Modernism. Speaker Stephen Brown is a curator at the Jewish Museum, New York, where he has organized major exhibitions on modern artists, including Florine Stettheimer in 2017.
