April 26 to May 5- Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story at the Wick Theater
“Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story” is the critically acclaimed show which opened in London in 1989 and ran for 12 years, before opening on Broadway. With foot stomping “Holly Hits” like “Everyday”, “Peggy Sue”, and “That’ll Be The Day”, this show truly depicts the man who was indeed a legend in rock-roll history.
The show runs until May 5 with performances from Wednesdays to Sundays. Evening shows are Thursday, Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30pm. Matinees are at 2pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Harmonic Motion
Harmonic Motion presents a program of Arabic music and dance that includes both classical and folk representations. Musical pieces highlight the work of prolific Egyptian composers, and dance reflects the Raks Sharki style (eastern dance) as well as the Shamadan (candelabrum dance) and Raks al Assaya (stick dance). Instrumentation includes the oud (Arabic lute), Egyptian tabla (hourglass-shaped drum), and riqq (classical frame drum with cymbals).
