March 14 to 24-The Musical “Carousel” at the Wick Theatre in Boca

Prepare to be swept away by the musical masterpiece Carousel at The Wick Theatre in Boca Raton. This iconic Rodgers and Hammerstein production features a treasure trove of timeless songs including “If I Loved You,” “Carousel Waltz,” “June is Bustin’ Out All Over,” and the anthemic “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Carousel opened on Broadway in 1945 and ran for two years. When it revived on Broadway in 1994, it won five Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical. The show is a Rogers and Hammerstein classic, with so many  iconic songs and a beautiful story about the concept of forgiveness.

The show runs until March 24 with performances from Wednesdays to Sundays. Evening shows are at 7:30pm.  Matinees are at 2pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.   The Wick Theatre & Costume Museum is located at 7901 N. A Taste of Jazz at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center features entertaining and educational encounters with the musical genre, accompanied by wine tastings. Join Martin Hand and the Gold Coast Jazz Quartet as they explore the origins of the music of jazz, how it moved throughout America and became the music it is today Jazz is the original music of America and is the basis for the popular music of the past and today. The Gold Coast Jazz Society has been a major presenter of jazz concerts, jazz education and jazz outreach programs in Broward County since 1992. They have maintained and preserved the heritage of jazz by presenting the music celebrating jazz’s evolution over the past 100 years.
We welcome our patrons back to Bailey Contemporary Arts Center for our in-person A Taste of Jazz program. Every second Thursday join us for a new kind of combo featuring entertaining and educational encounters by Gold Coast Jazz Society musicians as they explore the origins of jazz, how it became the music it is today and the basis for the popular music of the past and present. New talented performers will make their debut during the venue’s return on Thursday, April 22 with dinner shows Thursday through Saturday and Gospel Brunch every Sunday. 8pm to 10pm-Centennial Fountain comes to life with lights and music in an interactive dancing fountain waterworks show. Beautiful new dancing fountain feature at 150 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach. Shows are Thursdays–Sundays, 8–10 p.m. with three shows per hour; The fountain has been decked out with a state-of-the-art operating system giving water the power to dance to music and 109 LED lights with 16.7 million colors. Interactive play is not allowed during special programming. Visitors must remain behind the ropes when viewing shows.
