This tried-and-true veteran, located in the atrium of the Stonegate Bank Building, has a well-appointed dance floor to accompany its three-course lunch ($25 per person) and dinner ($39 per person). For lunch, sample the ricotta-and-parmesan-stuffed eggplant rollatini topped with marinara as the appetizer, the shrimp pappardelle porcini or chicken Milanese with greens and aged balsamic glaze for the main, and double-chocolate mousse cake for dessert. For dinner, begin with clams oreganata, and for entrees choose between duck a l’orange or grilled veal chop porcini. Finish with housemade tiramisu.

September 1- Timpano Las Olas Has Re-Opened
After closing 2 1/2 years ago due to the Pandemic, Timpano opened its doors in Fort Lauderdale a week ago today but with a dramatically different decor and menu. Chef Michael Ferraro (“Beat Bobby Flay,” “Iron Chef” and “Bar Rescue”), describes the new menu as “approachable Italian, but sophisticated.” Dishes range from his father’s namesake Georgio’s Meatballs antipasti to a dish called Uni Alfredo, with housemade fettuccine and uni (sea urchin roe.) With a musical blend that can be attributed to Andrew Morris’ background and upbringing, The Andrew Morris Band is known for consistently converting music lovers to country fans.
Growing up in Jacksonville, Florida, Andrew grew up loving classic country, namely George Jones. His love for classical country, which was influenced by his grandfather, has always remained, however, as he grew a little older, he also started to explore his parent’s love of rock n’ roll. His father was more of a soldier in the Kiss Army, where his mother enjoyed the smooth sounds of the Eagles. That musical background, intertwined with fresh and original material, including from the band’s newly released album, will make for some country fun during Clematis by Night.
