October 16- The New Restaurant “Rex Baron” Opens– Located in the Town Center Mall (formerly DaVinci’s and across from CPK, California Pizza Kitchen)- Rex Baron, a new post-apocalyptic-themed restaurant has an interactive video-experience bar, a virtual reality lounge with 32 stations. ( Guests can climb Mt. Everest, dive from a plane, take a bike ride through France or Italy, or go on safari. This is the highest level 5K resolution Virtual Reality that is not available to consumers in the US. Oct. 16 to Nov. 2:“Fright Nights”, for the 18th year, will be staged at West Palm Beach’s South Florida Fairgrounds with its legendary haunted houses (this year there will be four) as well as magicians, stage show and  “scare zones.” Located at 9067 Southern Blvd., West Palm Beach.
