This tried-and-true veteran, located in the atrium of the Seeman Holtz Building, has a well-appointed dance floor to accompany its three-course lunch ($25 per person) and dinner ($39 per person). For lunch, sample the ricotta-and-parmesan-stuffed eggplant rollatini topped with marinara as the appetizer, the shrimp pappardelle porcini or chicken Milanese with greens and aged balsamic glaze for the main, and double-chocolate mousse cake for dessert. For dinner, begin with clams oreganata, and for entrees choose between duck a l’ orange or grilled veal chop porcini. Finish with house made tiramisu.

6pm to 10pm-Join us for Pompano Beach’s Arts Festival! Patrons experience a night filled with live music by local bands and a local DJ, art gallery openings at Bailey Contemporary Arts Center, craft beer, food trucks, and artist vendors selling unique and artistic merchandise.

July 7-First Friday Art Walk in downtown Delray Beach

6 p.m. to 9 p.m.- Includes exhibits at the Cornell Art Museum on Old School Square for the first time since 2021, when the city terminated its lease with the nonprofit organization that had run OSS for decades. Old School Square and the museum are now operated by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority. Along with a survey of works by local artists titled “#LoveDelray,” the museum is showing “Surfing Florida,” a collection of archival photographs, antique surf boards and other pieces, a collaboration with the Surfing Florida Museum. Laurie Barnes, Elizabeth B. McGraw Senior Curator of Chinese Art, leads a discussion on two garments, a hanging scroll, and a Scholar’s Rock that showcase the various dragon designs worn and collected by the wealthy elite in China and Japan.

The Otto Santana Trio will play a tribute to Cuban percussion celebrating different from the Danzon to Latin jazz. He will be joined by Pianist Livan Mesa, Bassist Lino Piquero, and special guest singer Alba Maria.

Otto Santana is a Grammy nominated Cuban percussionist based in Miami. He has performed internationally in Japan, Germany, Spain, France, China, Canada, South Korea, Chile, Puerto Rico, Venezuela as well as domestically at the Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center sharing the stage with artists such as Cesar Lopez, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Habana Sax, Amadito Valdés, Jorge Luis Pacheco, Isaac Delgado, and Jose Maria Vitier.
