The play features iconic songs such as “Sunrise, Sunset,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” and the beloved “If I Were a Rich Man.” This beautiful musical, based on Sholom Aleichem’s “Tevye and his Daughters,” embodies a man’s need for love, freedom, family and of course, “TRADITION!” The story is set in the small Russian village of Anatevka, home to Tevye, a Jewish husband and father striving to uphold his family’s religious and cultural traditions, and his daughters. First Friday Art Walk is a self-guided tour of our art galleries, studios and museums with live music around town. It is produced by the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority to showcase our vibrant art community. The DDA provides LIVE pop-up music at select locations, lists participants on the DDA website and promotes the Art Walk through e-blasts and social media.
