December 5 to 15-“MACBETH”- Shakespeare Troupe of Florida Partners with Reel Theatre Productions to Make Live Films

SHOWTIME TODAY at 7:30pm

Peter Galman, founder and president of Shakespeare Troupe Inc. (STI), announced performances of William Shakespeare’s “Macbeth” beginning Thursday, December 5, 2024, as the Shakespeare Troupe partners with filmmakers from Reel Theatre Productions (RTP) in its newest production at the intimate Sol Theatre, 3333 North Federal Highway in Boca Raton.  Mr. Galman said, “The partnership of Shakespeare Troupe and Reel Theatre Productions will introduce Shakespeare to underserved audiences in a digital format, providing theatre goers with a culturally enriching, unique form of educative performance. We aim to engage audiences in an immersive way that will transcend text book learning.”

There are 3 ways to watch this new adaptation of Macbeth, said Cinematographer Manny Zaldivar, “as a traditionally seen live theater experience; second, as a member of a studio audience witnessing the filming of the play nonstop; and third, by sitting at home viewing the play being streamed onto a private screen.”    
The production features appearances by Jordon Armstrong as Macbeth, Sara Grant as Lady Macbeth, Todd Bruno as Macduff, Carey Brianna Hart as Lady Macduff, Brandon Campbell as Banquo, Seth Trucks as Porter, Nicole Hulett as Witch One, and Peter Galman as King Duncan.

Uncle Morty’s Rhythm Cream is a 10-piece R&B / Soul / Rock cover band working out of Gainesville, Florida. December 5 to 8-Clematis Street Interactive Waterworks Show at Centennial Fountain

8pm to 10pm-Centennial Fountain comes to life with lights and music in an interactive dancing fountain waterworks show. Beautiful new dancing fountain feature at 150 N. Clematis Street, West Palm Beach. Shows are Thursdays–Sundays, 8–10 p.m. with three shows per hour; The fountain has been decked out with a state-of-the-art operating system giving water the power to dance to music and 109 LED lights with 16.7 million colors. Interactive play is not allowed during special programming. Visitors must remain behind the ropes when viewing shows. December 5 -Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale (formerly Lips Fort Lauderdale) introduces Shows 6 Days a Week; TONIGHT: “Celebrity Impersonations”

The new Aquaplex is adding new shows to its popular entertainment lineup including Tango Tuesdays with a Latin-inspired menu. The new shows complement the venue’s recent interior updates, stage show enhancements with concert lighting and sound and a new food and beverage menu. Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale offers shows six nights a week, Tuesday through Sunday plus weekend brunches.

“Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale delivers an elevated experience with entertaining drag shows, delicious food, premium liquors and craft cocktails,” said Michael and John Barrett, owners of Aquaplex Key West and Fort Lauderdale. “Our significant investment to transform the show and dining experience is already delighting loyal Lips fans and attracting new audiences who love and appreciate the art of drag.”

Tango Tuesdays, hosted by Tlo Ivy, are tacos, tequila and tango all in one. The cast, including RuPaul’s Drag Race 16th season’s Myh’ia Iman Le Paige is set to deliver a high-energy, fast-moving show with a tribute to past and current Latin stars. The new menu specific to Tuesdays includes empanadas, tacos, Mexican street corn, quesadillas and loaded nachos. There is also a collection of premium tequilas and fruity margarita favorites plus new desserts, key lime pie and carrot cake. The show cover is $15, and the food minimum is $15.

Wednesdays have Bitchy Bingo, TONIGHT: Thursday night “Celebrity Impersonations” is hosted by Amanda Austin with the return of Calypso Monroe Lords. This tribute show brings to life past and present stars like Reba McIntire, Cher, Rihanna, Pink, Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Donna Summer and more. Friday and Saturday nights are Glitz and Glam. Sunday nights are now “Retro Nights – An ‘80s/‘90s Revue” hosted by London Adour. Top 40 hits come to life when the Aquanettes add their flair to every song. Saturday and Sundays have brunch.
